Accomy Goes Mobile: Corporate Travel Policy, Now in Your Pocket

Most of a business trip happens away from the desk. The Accomy app puts corporate rates, policy at the moment of booking and trip alerts on the phone.

Accomy Goes Mobile: Corporate Travel Policy, Now in Your Pocket

The Accomy app brings corporate rates, travel policy at the moment of booking and trip alerts to iPhone and Android, so a business trip is managed where it actually happens: on the phone.

Most corporate travel tools are built for the desk. The booking gets made there, the policy gets checked there, and the trip disappears from view the moment the traveller leaves the office.

The trip itself happens somewhere else. It happens at the gate when a flight is retimed, in a taxi when a meeting moves, and in a hotel lobby when the room isn't what was booked. That's where the decisions get made, usually on a phone, and usually without the policy in front of anyone.

So we built the Accomy app. It launched on the App Store on 29 June 2026 and on Google Play on 22 July 2026. Both apps have been in travellers' hands for a few months. Today we're announcing them properly, and explaining why a corporate travel platform needed to be on the phone at all.

The trip happens on the phone

Business travellers across Asia-Pacific already run their working lives from their phones. They message colleagues on WhatsApp, Line and WeChat, they check in on airline apps, and they expect their company's travel tool to keep up.

When it doesn't, they work around it. They rebook a delayed flight on a consumer site, pick a hotel near the new meeting without checking the cap, and send the receipt to finance a week later. Every one of those moments is a small, reasonable decision. Together they're how a travel programme loses control of its spend.

The Accomy app closes that gap. The same corporate rates, the same travel policy and the same trip record that live on the web now go wherever the traveller goes.

Our guide to corporate travel management best practices explains why policy at the moment of booking matters.

If the trip lives on the phone, the policy has to live there too.

Policy that travels with you

The idea at the centre of Accomy is simple. A travel policy works best at the moment someone books. By the time finance reviews an expense claim weeks later, the money has already been spent.

Across the platform, that approach means 94% of trips are booked in policy first time (Accomy-reported). The app carries it onto the phone. When a traveller searches for a hotel, their company's policy is checked as they go, and anything above the cap is flagged Out of Policy before they book. The hotel in the screenshot above shows what that looks like.

"A travel policy only works if it's there at the moment someone books. More and more, that moment happens on a phone, so that's where we've put it."

— An Accomy spokesperson

The best time to keep a trip in policy is before it's booked.

What's in the Accomy mobile app

The Accomy mobile app carries the core of our booking platform, laid out for a phone screen:

  • Flights and hotels at your company's corporate rates, with your travel policy applied as you search.

  • Alerts for booking confirmations and schedule changes, so a retimed flight doesn't come as a surprise at the gate.

  • Change and cancellation requests from your phone, without waiting to get back to a laptop.

  • Your upcoming and past trips in one place, and your travel documents and receipts uploaded as you go.

Bookings made in the app follow the same travel policy as bookings made on the web, so the rules don't change depending on where someone books.

The same rules apply, whether the booking was made at a desk or at a departure gate.

Getting started

The app is free on the App Store (iOS 15.6 or later, in English) and Google Play.

If your company already uses Accomy, your travel admin can add you, and you sign in to the app with the details you use on the web. If you're new to Accomy, register at travel.accomy.com first, then sign in on the app; you can't register inside the app itself.

Setting up travel for a whole team is where most companies want a hand. In a 30-minute walkthrough we'll show you how corporate rates, policy caps and the app would work on your own routes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Accomy app free?

Yes. The Accomy app is free to download on both the App Store and Google Play, and there's no separate charge for using the app itself. The trips you book in it are paid for with the payment methods your company has set up on Accomy. That's exactly how the same trip would be paid for on the web, so finance sees one set of records.

Can I sign up for the Accomy app myself?

Yes, but on the web rather than in the app. Go to travel.accomy.com, choose Register to open an account, then sign in on the app with the same details. If your company already uses Accomy, ask whoever manages travel there to add you instead. If you're setting Accomy up for a whole team, a 30-minute walkthrough is the quickest way to see how it would work for you.

What's the difference between the Accomy app and the website?

The app brings the core of the Accomy booking platform to your phone: flights and hotels at your company's corporate rates, with your travel policy applied as you search. It adds things that suit a phone, such as alerts for bookings and schedule changes. Bookings follow the same policy whichever one you use, and your upcoming and past trips sit in one list in the app.

Which phones does the Accomy app support?

The Accomy app runs on iPhones with iOS 15.6 or later, from the App Store, and on Android phones through Google Play. On iPhone it's currently available in English. Both versions are free, and you sign in with the same details you use on the Accomy website. New users register on the web first, at travel.accomy.com, then download the app.
